A service club must have able, dedicated Members of good character who are keen on serving our youth and community. We believe you are one of these individuals, and we thank you for your membership in the Gardena Evening Optimist Club. I would like to officially welcome you to the Club.
We need you to share our mission. We need the new ideas and talent you will bring to the Club. Through Optimist Club membership, you will have an opportunity to meaningfully affect the lives of others, to work with youth and to provide them with hope and a positive vision for the future, to develop your own personal skills and talents, and to make a difference in the community. With you, we can become a better Club. With you, we can provide greater service.

We are looking forward to working together on future community and youth service projects and socializing with you at our various other Club activities and events. If there is anything in particular that you are interested in doing, please let me know, and we will do our best to assign you to the appropriate committee or committees.
